Yakezie Thursday 7/8/10

YakezieWelcome to another wonderful Thursday. I just want to give a shout out to Aetna for great vision insurance. They gave me a $2oo allowance so I didn’t have to pay much for my new pair of glasses. Awesome.

Anyways, I’m currently at 267,919 as my Alexa ranking and this is the first time I have gone negative in rank so I hope I’m not leveling off. Hopefully that was just because of the slow holiday weekend and I can continue to move up.

Thank you for enjoying what I write and I hope some of my writing makes you think a little. If you haven’t yet, be sure to stay up to date with Financially Poor in the following ways:

Now on to the Yakezie:

@NotMadeOfMoney Get Your Kids On Board With Coupon Clipping

I’m a big fan of coupons so this post brought it to a new level with having your kids help out. That can be great quality time and make couponing a little easier.

@JonDeGroff My Problem with Dave Ramsey

I agree that Dave Ramsey is great for the just getting started. Once you get going you should grow out of him and find your own way, and by own way I mean what this post talks about. Everyone is different.

@MoneyCrush Remember That There Are Usually Other Choices

I focused on the story about the cherries. Don’t do that but that idea blew my mind. I never know you could do that. Anyways, read to the end to get the great point and take away a great tip as well. Confused? Read the post and you’ll know what I’m talking about.
