Kick-Ass Weekend Reads – Make Life Fun Edition

Welcome to the 2nd edition of Kick Ass Weekend Reads. It’s been a very productive week as far as this blog goes. I’m working on a new project that you may already know about if you’re signed up to my weekly updates.

I just want to let you know that Mark @BuyLikeBuffett has a New Blogging Jobs Forum. So check that out if you enjoy writing and want some income (who doesn’t want income?).

I’m moving soon and I wanted to let you know that throwing stuff (that can’t be donated) really makes life less cluttered.

So this weekend try to find a couple of things that you won’t use for at least 6 months (not counting thanksgiving and Christmas items) and donate it or throw it out, or even try to sell it if you can.

I promise you’ll have more energy and purpose when you do, so do it!!

Sam @FinancialSamura had an interesting article about how people don’t really show off the money they have because people will attack you (not literally….unless you’re getting robbed)  because of it.

That would make me think the economy is down because of the attack on the rich. Or is that just me? Most People Make A Lot More Money Than You Think

Over @Untemplater learn that successful people are just like you, the only difference is that that said I’m doing it instead of I’m going to do it.

Still Knocking On Doors- Find Your Passion in Entrepreneurship & Create Your Own

I think that not enough people were affected by this recession to create a life changing event for everyone. So I don’t think frugality will stick in most people. Let @Flexo know what you think in Is Frugality Still Here

I think quotes can be very powerful if you act on that power and use it. Check out these 26 Magical Quotes About Following Your Dream @JacobSokol and check out The Alchemist, it’s going in my book collection.

These are some pretty cool links @BitRebels. I like to check them out because there are always cool articles there. These are my favs from the week

HeadBanger- The First Sweatband Headphones Are Here

Global Entrepreneurial Costs & Success Rates

Most Children Learn Computer Skills Before Life Skills

And of course I can’t leave you without a cool video that will tie this theme together.

Enjoy and have a great weekend, Be sure to do something productive (or not. It’s not like life is short or anything).
