Im Not On A Boat Anymore

I’m back from my cruise. Well I was back Saturday but I didn’t get out of vacation mode until yesterday. Everything went great as far as the cruise. I came back from the cruise engaged!! That’s right, I asked and she said yes!!! I believe we’re planning on getting married next November so I have some saving to do.

We came back to some great news….she got laid off!!! Yay…..wait, no that’s bad news. But they say it’s temporary and she should be hired back in 3 to 4 months. But until then, she’s job hunting.

Anyways, I would like to thank everyone that helped promote all of my posts last week. Here’s all of the great people who helped out and I’ll promote their posts as well. If I for some reason left you off feel free to contact me and I will add you. Don’t hesitate to ask because I do want to thank all of you.

  • Congratulations on the engagement- how exciting! I hope your fiancee has some great luck in the job market.

No job promoting, I am glad you Alexa ranking stayed below 100k.

Thanks for the mention, and all the support you always give me.

    • Thank you very much. I’m glad it stayed low too. Thanks for all of your help too.

  • Thanks for the mention, Kevin!
Hope you had a great vacation!

    • I did, Thanks and anytime on the mention

  • Welcome back and congratulations! Engagement is a huge move!

Being laid off is horrible. I don’t understand how companies can lay off people when they go on vacation. One guy from our work got a call while he was in the airport waiting for his flight to go on vacation. What a great vacation he had!

Thank you for including me into your roundup!

    • Thank you. One of my old bosses was fired when he came back from his brothers funeral. It’s really a sad thing.

  • Congratulations.

Isn’t it always like that:? You get bad news when you’re trying to celebrate good news. I hope your fiance is able to find something soon and that it’s much better than her previous employer. That way she won’t have to return there!

    • That would be a great wish. I hope she does too.

  • Welcome back! A big congrats on the engagement (YAY!!!!) and sorry about the job (didn’t think I would every congratulate and feel sorry in the same sentence). Hope she will get a better opportunity now.

    Thanks for the mention!

    • Thanks, I hope so too.

  • Congratulations on the engagement!

That blows to come back from vacation to a lost job. When one door closes another opens.

Also, a big thanks for the link love!

  • Congratulations once again on the engagement! I hope that everything works out with your fiance and her job!

Thanks for the mention and your continued support!
